| subject: | Boongs [was cars] |
PE> How come I didn't hear any reports of a hit-and-run in Redfern? JT> Fuck the media. He didn't run out and tell the media, because JT> running over people is against the law. The boongs didn't tell JT> the media because breaking private property with a brick with JT> intent to mug people is against the law. I can tell you a few JT> more stories about people who have broken the law to save JT> themselves or their property which makes the above boong case JT> seem like a slap-on-the-wrist offence. Hear, hear! I can never understand why someone in a 1.5 ton car with 100HP lets themselves be monstered by dickheads outside the locked windows. I have already decided what I'll do faced with that... run the bastards over. The only bit I'm not sure about is whether to report it to Police. I would be able to tell a sufficient story to avoid charges against me: "It all happened so fast, they just ran out in front and when I turned my head to look at the boong with the axe I accidentally ran over the one in front, and when I stopped to back up to see if I could help I accidentally ran over the one trying to smash my window because I was watching the one with the axe, and I may have panicked but I'm not sure... and then I drove off because I thought they'd kill me. I feared for my life, etc." But I'd probably just run the bastards over and see what happened... these boongs are not rocket scientists, and it's unlikely they'd ever trace the car, even if I killed a couple. You can always tell your story in court, a year later after you've had time to rehearse it properly with a good lawyer. JT> The media only tells the story if it is likely to sell the JT> paper and the person(s) who get convicted deserve it. True. The Media lives on sensation, and the ones that escape unnoticed are not news. JT> Let's have a look at today's paper. (shuffle shuffle) Oh, here JT> we are, a couple had their car carjacked in redfern, and found JT> it burnt out a short time later minus a few tools, a handbag JT> and a small amount of cash. Yes. I saw that too. How crazy would they be? They're in a 2-ton Mercedes and there's skinny boongs banging on the bonnet. ROFL! My only hesitation would be what gear to use... first, or second? God help anyone who tries to car-jack me! ROFL! In fact, I've already decided *how* to hit them... swerving at the time of impact so they flip up and don't land on the bonnet. And if they're behind: reverse, hit them hard and brake... then first gear and take off. You don't want the dead body under or on top your car, it costs too much to remove dents in the roof and replace windscreens, and blood underneath is a dead giveway for physical evidence... just knock them down hard, drive away, and with a bit of luck you'll only damage the one panel. Even then, you're looking at $2,000 repairs. I can't see any point in trying to do it slow and gentle. If it ever gets to court, they could use that to show it was premeditated. What you want to say is that you panicked in fear of your life, and were distracted by one of the attackers coming at you from the side. As far as I am concerned, if someone tries a car-jacking on me, they're offering me a free murder. Of course I'll feel bad afterwards, but I can learn to live with that... especially if I don't damage the car too badly. JT> Ok, so we now know what happens if you wait. What? you have to JT> run over one of the offenders to prevent waiting? Oh dear, how JT> sad, never mind. My attitude exactly. They want to play rough with me driving a lethal weapon...?
