Thanks for replying but I have already found one that worked (the internal 
parts did, not the whole thing as a whole.  You were right about the 
variables.  The 10 wire connector didn't have all the wires that mine had, 
the firewall cover had a different bolt pattern, and there was one other 
thing I don't remember now. Basically all I needed was the aluminum shifter 
shell and the tube that it locks onto which interchanged just fine.  
For whatever reason the shell on mine cracked (big time) and the locking 
tab on the tube broke off.
