Unfortunately, those of us who drive most of the day, and are in and out
of a vehicle don't carry any ID. It's in the glove box or brief case,
rather then in the back pocket.

Once while contacting a dump truck driver, I was having problems hearing
my portable radio. The signal was poor and the radio cheap (lowest
bidder). However, we got excellent reception from the drivers
scanner...
