Interesting, how so, you say. I'd be happy to be wrong. > Thought I was just quoting, not taking anything out of context. In your cryptic statement, you used some of the same words as the translators of the King James Version used in translating Rev. 21:8 from Greek into English. However, you did not give the author of Rev. any credit but stated it as your own assertion. (I saw no quotation marks around the statement.) Your statement was very stern, yet very ambiguous. I applied Matt. 7:1-2 to that assertion. Matt. 7:1-2 can be translated, "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get." I wrote what I did to stir you up, hoping you would say fully what you had in mind when you made that cryptic statement. One problem I see is this. The word "liars" was probably a good English translation in the early 1600s. But, now days the meaning of the word is hard to pen down. Some people will label another as a liar at the drop of a hat. Some say, "All politicians are liars." Others say, "All fishermen are liars." The label "liar" has been used so much and so liberally that it has lost its "punch". Some people label any one who makes an untrue statement, a "liar". To me that is like labeling a boy who built a bird house, a "carpenter". What I would like to know is exactly what you meant when you used the word "liar" in your statement. ((( s.r.c.b-s is a moderated group.
