But returning to my main point, while George H. W. Bush has
been credited with popularizing the phrase and concept of a
New World Order, it should be pointed out that both American
President Woodrow Wilson and British Prime Minister Winston
Churchill utilized this term many decades earlier. Russian
president Mikhail Gorbachev also promoted the concept of a
New World Order in a speech he gave before the United Nations
General Assembly on December 7, 1988, and there exist other
historical examples where individuals have used the term. For
example, renowned British novelist H. G. Wells -- who was an
outspoken socialist and a utopian -- envisioned in his books
a benign, global government which would unite the people of
the world, and bring an end to devastating war.

In January of 1940, Mr. Wells published a book entitled, not
surprisingly, "The New World Order". Seven years earlier, in
1933, Wells published "The Shape Of Things To Come" in which
-- although it is science fiction -- he accurately described
the advent of World War II in 1939, although in his book, war
breaks out in January of 1940. H. G. Wells' solution to man's
propensity to wage war was a global, benevolent dictatorship
in which religion -- including Christianity -- was abolished.
Wells refers to this global government as "The Dictatorship
Of The Air". Does that name remind you of anything? There is
indeed a global dictatorship coming alright, but it won't be
run by good-hearted individuals as envisioned by Mr. Wells;
it will be run by none other than Satan himself in disguise;
who the Apostle Paul calls the Prince of the Power of the Air:

"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of
this world, according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:"
Ephesians 2:2, KJV

Make no mistake. The powerful globalists and elitists who will
usher in the coming New World Order and One World Government,
and the people who will accept the Mark of the Beast, will in
fact be the "children of disobedience". Why? Because they'll
be acting in direct defiance to God, just as proud Nimrod did
over four millennia ago, when he too sought to build himself
an empire. And, just like Nimrod, they will pay the ultimate
price for their disobedience, as we see here:

"And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth;
and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which
had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his
image."
Revelation 16:2, KJV

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice,
If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his
mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of
the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be
tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy
angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of
their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have
no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image,
and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."
Revelation 14:9-11, KJV

"And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that
wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that
had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped
his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone."
Revelation 19:20, KJV

In the book of Genesis we are told that Nimrod failed in his
vain attempt to unite the people of the Earth, to consolidate
his power, and to achieve his lofty goal of building a tower
which would reach unto Heaven, as we see here:

"And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the
earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it
is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and
Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar."
Genesis 10:8-10, KJV

"And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that
they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt
there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make
brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone,
and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us
build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven;
and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon
the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see
the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have
all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing
will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language,
that they may not understand one another's speech. So the
LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all
the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is
the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there
confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did
the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth."
Genesis 11:1-9, KJV

These ancient events occurred in Shinar, which later became
known as Babylonia. The book of the Prophet Micah even refers
to this region as "the land of Nimrod", as we see here:

"And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and
the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he
deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land,
and when he treadeth within our borders."
Micah 5:6, KJV

As I point out in other articles, such as "The Seven Heads",
the Assyrians who dwelt in the north, and the Babylonians who
dwelt in the south, were closely related, and shared some of
the same cultural and religious traditions. Not only that,
but Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar's father, Nabopolassar,
was a Chaldean who rose through the ranks of the Assyrian
army to become a general, and ultimately, the first king of
Babylonia. Only decades ago, this same area of the world was
known as Mesopotamia -- or "the land between two rivers" --
and today it is known as the nation of Iraq. Thus we can see
that dark spiritual forces have been at work in that region
of the Middle East for millennia; and today, Satan -- who the
Bible refers to as the Destroyer -- has turned it into a
violent hellhole on Earth once again.

Let me also add that it is the rich Biblical history of that
region, and its direct ties to some of the ancient Biblical
Prophets and their prophecies, such as Isaiah, Jeremiah,
Ezekiel, Daniel, etc., which leads me to believe that Iraq,
and Iran, may play pivotal roles in the Endtime scenario. It
is possible that the very fact that there is so much turmoil
in the region right now, may be an indication that something
new may soon break forth there. In a sense, the Middle East,
-- and particularly Iraq -- is experiencing labor pains. The
question is, what will come forth when the process has been
completed?

So again, just as Nimrod failed in his attempt to establish
his New World Order and a One World Government, in similar
fashion, the Beast and the False Prophet -- who will be the
leaders of the coming One World Government -- and all of the
people who choose to blindly follow after them, will likewise
meet a similar fate; because God refuses to take second place
to anyone. The only successful New World Order that there is
ever going to be, will be the one which Jesus Christ Himself
will establish during the Golden Age of the Millennium. For
