When someone begins with an effort to make a definition
into a statement, nothing but illogic can follow.  Since
"salvation" IS "not going to hell", it's already wrongheaded
to treat "salvation" as if it were a wristband that gets
you into heaven.  It's actually a degradation of "salvation"
to imply that it's not "getting into heaven", but only
"the thing that gets you into heaven."

True.  But then why do you, in complete contradiction to
this, proceed to offer a good work as a means to gain
salvation:

Which says that we can get to heaven by being good.

Thus the conclusion of decision theology.
