I've been trying to figure that out..... I guess I wrote that 
to cover my butt.
Early on, I found out that there is a problem posting really 
big notes. PPoint was truncating them after about 300 lines 
rather than forming multiple posts.
For a while, I was reading the Newsgroups that my BOSS was 
carrying. The NGs are not pointable, so I had to use BlueWave.
I also use BlueWave for E-Mail, since I can't use it thru my 
point. 
On the whole, I don't think there are any real "minuses" to 
pointing. I don't play the games, but to use BlueWave, I log 
in every day anyway.
I'm glad you didn't ask about the plusses. I might end up 
testing that 300 line limit again.
