The best tell tale sign of Quaker State oil is a massive buildup of crud on 
the inside of the valve cover. Unless they have changed the formula. I NEVER 
use it for that reason. I find that Castrol is VERY good, but, slips past the 
rings thus burning oil. I stick with Pennzoil or Valvoline.
