Hi Pat:
Well, I took the partial cast off late last night.  The pain is gone, and I 
was hurting from where the cast was rubbing, and not from the area they were 
concerned about.  I am still tender, and have some slight pain in some other 
spots that looked fine on the xrays, but no pain in the area they were 
concerned about.  I have a heck of a bruise on the palm of my hand though.  
Just gonna take some time to get back to normal.
