Actually you guys are out of luck now, Chevy has discontinued the
Carpice Classic platform, and The Ford Crown Vic. isnt now and never was
worth a damn. Chevy is however rebuilding old police issue Carpice
Classics (also know as the B-Body) THe B-body includes the Chevy
Carpice, Buick Roadmaster, Pontaic Bonnieville, Chevy Impala, who were
at one time during the 80s all the same car, just rebaged. As for the
future of law enforcement vicheiales? Dunno, there arnt very many rear
wheel drive cars with enough space inside to hold people. Infact only
1998 rear wheel drive cars i can think of are: Corvette, Camaro,
Firebird, Mustang, Auraroa, Monte Carlo (maybe), mark VII (discontinuted
after this year), Crown Victoryia. THe Corevette, Camaro Firebird, and
Mustang are obvouse not good canadates due to their cost as well as very
limited back seat seating, The Auraroa (missplled i know) is quite out
of the price range as is the Mark VII. So all that is left is the Crown
Vic whos probably not long for production, and The MOnte Carlo, In
newport news i have see 1 Monte Carlo in full police decals, i dont know
if this was a special car given to the department for testing or what,
because i have not seen it about as of late.
