NASCAR Busch Series Crew Chiief Fined for Violations at Dover DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 6, 2006) -- NASCAR announced today that Wally Rogers, crew chief of the No. 33 Chevrolet driven by Ron Hornaday Jr. in the NASCAR Busch Series, has been penalized due to rules violations at Dover International Speedway. Rogers was fined $1,000 for violating Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used that do not conform to NASCAR rules: Section 20A -- 12.3R: right rear shock absorber exceeded the specified nitrogen gas pressure) of the 2006 NASCAR Busch Series Rule Book. The infraction was discovered during post-race inspection on June 3. ##MMR 2.61(beta).
