Villeneuve warns McLaren

(10-Jul-98) - Jacques Villeneuve has added his own opinion to the world
title battle between Ferrari and McLaren -- and said that McLaren's
mistakes may cost them dearly.

"It is an interesting situation," said Villeneuve. "But it
depends as much on how many more mistakes McLaren can make as anything
else."

"The way they started the year, you wouldn't have expected anyone else
to fight back in to the championship -- but Michael has.

"Michael has a very good chance of winning the title. The McLaren
package is a better one, but they seem to be not making the best of it
lately. McLaren had, and still has, the upper hand -- but somehow they are
managing to screw it up."
