I view these attempts to promote Christianity to be a threat to libery.
However, I think the threat we face from the left is bigger. I say this
just based on the current size of the government and its regulatory reach.

The most worrisome (and little noticed) trend under the Clinton
Administration has been the extent to which the Clinton appointees to run
the regulatory agencies have found that they didn't need to get legislation
thru Congress in order to massively rewrite and change the character of
their regulations. This is even more worrisome precisely because the
average citizen has a much harder time understanding changes in what
regulatory agencies do as compared to understanding issues of religious
freedom.
