discussion of hand-crafts such as, but not limited to: crochet, knitting,  
cross-stitching, rubber-stamping, quilting, quilling, ceramics,
wood-crafts, 
etc. 
 
*  Enjoy the conference!  You are welcome here, we want you to feel 
   at home and enjoy the ongoing conversation of our mutual hobbies! 
 
*  This is a family echo. Please ensure your language, conversation and 
   taglines are G-rated at all times. 
 
*  Please use real names in the echo.  Handles are not permitted. 
 
*  Please keep messages "on topic" and when possible, combine your 
   responses to several people rather than repeating yourself in 
   multiple messages.  We also ask that there be no "blanket messages" 
   which can include things like ads for BBSs, clubs, fund raising, etc. 
 
*  Please do not use high ASCII characters in messages or taglines. We 
   at times have echo participants using older technology (some 
   machines for the disabled, for example) that lock up or do other 
   strange things when they hit a high ASCII character. 
 
*  Please refrain from posting commercial ads.  However, the odd 
   sewing/quilting related item, purchased for personal use and no 
   longer needed, may be offered to echo participants for sale as 
   "used, not-for-profit goods".  I ask those of you who do sell for 
   profit to refrain from soliciting business here in CRAFTING in 
   any manner. 
 
*  The moderator of the CRAFTING echo accepts no responsibility 
   for, nor do I condone, the practice of exchanging reproductions 
   of material that is in breach of an existing copyright. 
 
*  Please use message quoting sparingly, (only enough to briefly 
   remind participants of what was previously said).  It is not 
   necessary to quote message headers, origin lines or signature 
   lines.  Quoting well is considered good BBS etiquette. 
 
*  Please leave the moderating to the moderator. I want CRAFTING 
    to be a warm, friendly place where everyone feels welcome.  If  
    you have a concern, feel free to contact me by private netmail. 
    Flaming, personal insults, or arguing a point in a mean-spirited  
    way with an echo participant or moderator is not permitted. 
 
*  Exchanges are welcome here on CRAFTING.  However, all exchanges 
   must be approved by the moderator first.  This can be done via email, 
   netmail, or snailmail, but cannot be done on the echo. 
 
*  Interpretation and implementation of the above guidelines is at the 
   sole discretion of the current moderator.
