HI Val,

I bet you and everyone else thought I fell off the face of the earth here
on Fidonet! ... I have just been real busy here... I have been working
diligently on my web site... I am making progress... but I am going to slow
down a bit here because I just got my new "domain" name registered so a lot
f
changes have to be made to the server and the current pages that are already
there and I don't want to get to deep and miss some of the changes.
The Rubber Stamp catalog is in the works right now... and then I have
other areas too that need to be put up and going...

RE: Shaker Cards

-> I don't completly understand what you did, but it sounds beautiful.
-
They are very pretty and very different... they are a "filled" card. By
taking a piece of foam mounting board and cut it to the size of the card you
want. then cut away a piece from the inside to make a "frame". I then use
two pieces of clear plastic to make a see through window for the front of the
card... by filling this window with confetti or any other goodie you want to
have floating around in the window you now have the basics for a shaker
card... the fun begins of course as you work out the composition of stamps
nd
verse that you want to add to the shaker...
Right now I am doing a "snowman" shaker card.. the confetti I chose is
again the stars, moons, suns, etc..... I will place two small snowmen on the
front of the card that will cover the front edge of the window... I have a
lot of other bits and pieces to do on the front before I attach the back
piece of the card ... I will choose an image or verse that will show
through the window to the front of the card. As I said this is the basics
for making a shaker card... I will scan both of the pieces I have sitting
here and put them up on my web site, most likely tomorrow, as I am again back
to working on the wedding invitations that I MUST finish...

>
-> JSł The progress on my Double wedding Ring quilt is going slowly
along...
I have not finished much more on this yet because of the other crafty
things that I have to get done... the wedding invitations are a MUST as I
mentioned and I am re-hosting a swap right now on the internet... ...
Well my friend, I am gonna move along here now... ttyl

I
-> JSł get a bit done on it every few days here... I don't expect to see it
finish
-> JSł until stping at the rate I am going... but that is ok.
