Wow what can I say? I have GeoFile, but only basically use it for my 
address book which is just over 230 records. But I've not used 
GeoFile enough to see what you are seeing. But here's a suggestion. 
How about exporting the file into "Comma Separated Value" which 
almost any database can read anyway for your backups? Plus basically 
any text editor can edit the file as well.
