  Yes, I think You are right, Borland going broke will help no one. I
would feel better if they would start competing ethically, however.
  With Alpha 5, they dumped dBASE compatibility and now use FoxPro
database and index files. I am not sure about the Memo fields, but I
will let You know when I figure it out. Would it surprise You to know
that 5 years ago I asked Borland's head of the dBASE product for
FoxPro index support, and he literally laughed in my face?
