Tom,

TW>DS> I think I'll stay with Windows 7.

TW>Sounds like a smart move to me. I upgraded top win 10 and have had
TW>nothing but problems. Lots iof Screen Frezes and Blue Screen automatic
TW>re-boots.
TW>And recently on one of the re-boots the machien went back to Win 7 and
TW>then about a week or so later re-booted to win10 again.
TW>And that is not to mention the Stuped MS changes just for the sake of
TW>change to make you thing you have something better.
TW>Tok me several weeks btu I finalle got my desktop amnd start meny back
TW>to the way I like them.

Micr0$0ft is interested ONLY in their bottom line, and feel they have the
RIGHT to tell you what OS and browser you should run...and refuse to accept
the fact that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

You know it angers them no end that folks are running OS's like MacIntosh
(Apple) and Linux, using browsers like Google Chrome and Firefox rather
than Internet Explorer (or whatever the deal is now in Windows 10), and
using search engines such as Google Chrome rather than Bing.

Besides, not everyone is loaded with money. I myself am disabled, and on
a fixed income, dealing with medical bills for surgeries, procedures, etc.
right now. So, I don't have extra money to throw around.

In that regard, Comcast Cable called today with a telemarketer having a
heavy foreign accent, trying to get me to take advantage of a new special,
which would cost me more. I finally told him "I guess you don't
understand English. I said I can't afford to upgrade my cable service, and
may have to reduce what I have soon, due to medical bills...good day",
and hung up on him.

Believe me, if I wanted to upgrade, and could afford to, I would. That
applies to OS's, cable TV setups, etc. Also, when I purchased my copy of
Windows 7 32-bit from Amazon, I likely got it much cheaper than what
Microsoft originally sold it for...I think I paid around $70, with
shipping.

And, I've never been one to download the OS when it first came out...the
bugs still with it made it have more holes in it than a pair of old
underwear...and it stinks about as much. :P
