It seems to me that scuba diving has more variables than one can
imagine.
What type of suit do you use, the type of tank you use also makes a
difference. I also vary my weight as to the depth I'm going to be, as
more weight at shallower depths.
Try 12% of your body weight for salt and 10% for fresh water.
Also another variable I have found is that if you haven't been diving
for a while or you start breathing incorrectly you will seem to need
more weight.
