As Valerie Murphy communicated to Wendy Apgar's starship:
VM> These puff powders can be difficult sometimes. You really need lots
VM> of wet ink. If you have a pigment pad try it with that and see if it
VM> works any better. I have never gotten it to work with an embossing
VM> pen. I've been having some trouble myself, but I think it has to do
VM> with my clear embossing pads because they work fine with the colored
VM> pads. I'm hoping to get a dauber like Julia uses if she can tell me
VM> where to find one. Don't give up on the powders they are so great.
VM> Just use LOTS of pigment ink.
I'll try it again as soon as I figure out something else,
besides clouds (I don't have any stamps with clouds on
them) that I can use the grey puff embossing powders with.
I love all the other powders that came with the package!
VM> I haven't tried the black lame' yet. How did you use it on your
VM> cloud?
I used my embossing pen and sprinkled the black lame' over
it. It made a nice black cloud with bits of cold sprinkled
through it and it looked really neat!
The gold in the cloud...the silver lining so to speak.
