As Julia Sidebottom communicated to Wendy Apgar's starship:
JS> Since I do not use an embossing pen I can't speak to that but I do
JS> use and embossing ink that is in a "bingo dauber" type of bottle. I
JS> find using this on a stamp works well with the puff-ups also I have
JS> taken a small paint brush and stroked on the embossing ink in areas
JS> that were real small and that I
JS> wanted to fill in for accents... to date I have not had any trouble
JS> with the puff ups sticking to the paper using these techniques... I am
JS> just wondering if I am getting more ink on the paper than you might be
JS> with the embossing
JS> pen...
The only reason for using the pen was that I was using a
stencil on the card so needed to fill in the space. But
I would think that I had enough on the paper if I added
other embossing powders to other parts of the card and
the embossing powders stuck to the areas that I had colored
using the embossing pen for the puff paints. I have
a friend that I'm going to pass some onto to try. Then she
can help me if she has better results. I will also see
if I can find another image I can use it on and use my
color box embossing pad and see if that works better for
me.
JS> Like you, I love the Black Lame' it is just stunning... I have not
JS> had all the time yet to play with all the goodies either... But I am
JS> getting closer all the time!
I've tried quite a few of them. Can't decide on a favorite
but they have sure saved me money and been fun to use!
