For a while I avoided DVD drives because they were locked. At some
point crackers published the key and that objection fell away, but it
fell away for bad reasons. Eventually DVD burner drives came to some
price point and I got them in various machines.

For the moment my current objections to Blu-Ray aren't because of Sony.
They have the same form as my previous DVD objections. At some point
the price point for burners will drop to where I can move my collections
from CD-ROM, cassette and DVD to Blu-Ray. Having it's format be
encrypted will fit in their somewhere.

The Emmas mini-series should be good. Somehow I ended up liking
Victorian romances.
