Today SemWare released a Test Drive version of the commercial
product: The SemWare Editor (TSE) v2.00.
The Test Drive is designed to allow users to try out The SemWare
Editor for evaluation purposes.  TSE includes many powerful
features designed to make users more productive.  Features
included in the Test Drive:
  - Virtual Memory: Edit files up to 64 meg in size, using
    available EMS, XMS and disk space.  Incredibly fast!
  - Vertical and Horizontal Windows: split the screen into as
    many as nine windows.
  - Bookmarks: use up to 26 bookmarks to store locations in
    file(s) to instantly return to positions as needed.
  - Mouse Support: perform window, block, scrolling and menu
    operations.
  - Searching: Regular Expressions (wildcards), Incremental and
    Compressed View Searches allow you to find things quickly!
  - Printing: many new options including header and footer lines,
    page numbers, line numbering, spacing, selecting print
    device, and more!
  - Improved Tab handling.
  - Compiler support: use the editor compile programs written in
    Borland/Turbo C/Pascal, Microsoft C/Fortran, Watcom C, and
    many other languages.  Adding additional compilers is a
    breeze.
  - Template Expansion: define abbreviations to expand in your
    text. A real time saver!
  - Potpourri: A place to put all those macros!  This handy
    command presents a 'picklist' of SemWare supplied macros.  It
    can be supplemented as much as you like.
  - HyperText Help: the Test Drive version includes an
    abbreviated version the HyperText help found in the licensed
    SemWare Editor v2.00.
  - User Interfaces: Included emulations for QEdit,
    Wordstar/Borland IDE, WordPerfect, and Brief in addition to
    TSE's native user interface.
In addition to all of these features, The SemWare Editor v2.00
Test Drive includes the following evaluation macros:
  - CALENDAR: Displays a calendar on the screen.
  - CD: Fancy change directory command.
  - EXPAND: word completion using words your current document.

  - FILLNUM: Fills a column block with range of numbers.
  - SUM: Sums a column block of numbers.
  - WHERE: A "WHEREIS" type command.  Find and load a file fast!
