I've tried to get family members with a history of ulcers and supposed
continuing stomach distress to get an h.pylori test. I am concerned by
reports that long term infection with h.pylori increases the risk of
stomach cancer. But they are of an older generation that would never think
to actually initiate a discussion about something like that with their
doctor.
