NB>> A question for you from someone (myself) outside the Commonwealth...
NB>> how burning an issue is it outside Great Britain itself...? Even if
NB>> Scotland pulls out of GB, isn't it still part of the commonwealth...?
PH> I'm not sure of the answer to the last part of your question Nancy,
PH> but as for the first part - yes there's quite a bit of interest in my
PH> country. We have our own national elections today (every 3 years) and
PH> the Scottish story has been item number 2-3 on the nightly TV news.
So is the interest mostly vicarious/curiosity...? Or is there more to
it...? There was enough interest here in the States that it made the
top of the hour NPR headlines while it lasted, up to and including the
PM's resignation upon the publishing of the results... and now it's at
best dropped off that... I'd suspect totally dropped off the radar, but
I couldn't confirm that, as I don't watch or listen to the in-depth news
generally... We're back to Ebola and ISIS and sports/political
scandals... ;0
PH> Hope all is well with you, we haven't chatted in a while.
Pretty good, good enough anyway... ;) I'd guess your wife is pretty
much fully recovered now from her surgery...? Haven't seen you posting
in the echoes I'm active in lately... Guess you're keeping pretty busy,
too...?

... Confidence is the feeling you had before you knew better.
