Will, I'm probably being penny wise and pound foolish, I realize,
but my interest in programming for OS/2 has been mostly, as you
surmised, from the non-professional standpoint. Also, since I
loath 'C' (Pascal stalwart), the idea of paying that cash out
mostly for 'C' compilers and code samples kinda grates. Now that
I'm starting a new job, for Global Services, maybe I'll rethink
that and take the splurge anyway.
BTW, remember that question about the Network Applications
folder? Turns out that the folder will ONLY appear if you are
doing a scripted "domain" logon (with verification)...These
machines were setup to do a simple /userid /password logon. When
I added the /D: param, the folder appeared as speced.
