Sorry... I mis-read the question (but atleast I tested the code
instead of guessing like a bunch of others) ...  but I think you have the
answer by now (echo mail is marginally faster than air mail)

It does the same here...
I managed to get my machine to hang at midnight... I was running
debug trace and redirecting output (I may have typed the wrong
thing...) i had to reboot while my QWK-OLR was open. :(
