Your theoretical musings show very little understanding how things are made to
work. 3 out of 4 ZCs 'are' doing a good job!
 
We know about particular anomalies in the nodelist but in certain locations you
just have to make do with who-ever is still left there ... up to the RC-level
in certain cases. There may not be any viable people anymore in certain cases
when a particular *C skips a beat.
 
And Dale has been a respected contributor for years, I'd like more people like
him in the nodelist.
