Excellent value. The finish is a little rough- the backstrap checkering
is cast into the frame, other little things like this. It may not win
and beauty contests, but mine has taken a bit a pounding, and come back
ready for more. I would not say it's the most accurate gun either. But
for the size, it's not meant to be a target gun. I'd say it runs on the
larger sizes of groups you hear about most semi-autos turning in.
Magazine gunwriters have tested it and found it more accurate than I can
shoot it by far, on par with other semi-autos.
It's a tough, capable, affordable pistol, I'd say go with it. I had two
misfeeds when I first got it. I attributed it to breaking in, either me
or the gun. Except for the control differences, I liken it to a compact
version of the 1911: proven tough & reliable, a serious tool for a
serious job.
þ SLMR 2.0 þ If you lived with Sarah Brady you'd look like that too.
