I know a a few of the basic phrases one needs to interact in Russia, but I
have a long way to go. I lean heavily on translation software.

I need to use it less and translate more of it myself, but thumbing through
a dictionary is a royal hassle.

Next time I go to Russia, I'll either need another translator, or end up
depending more heavily on the Pocket PC than I should... Of course, a
Pocket PC-based dictionary IS easier to carry around, And the newest
Russian phrasebooks speak, too.

Guess it's the language equivalent of using calculators in
elemantary-school mathematics...
