Hungarian GP organizers fined $1 million

PARIS (Oct 15, 1998 - 13:20 EDT) - Hungarian Grand prix organizers were
fined $1 million by the FIA World Motor Sports Council on Thursday
following the track invasion by thousands of Ferrari fans after Michael
Schumacher won there in August.

The council said that 75 percent of the fine was suspended but would become
payable if there was a similar incident at the Hungaroring in the next two
years.
