Hi Steve and all others,
thanks for your advices to all who helped me. Renting a shotgun in the  
states is a good idea, but hey, call me a german crazy, but I dream every  
night to possess a OWN shotgun ;)
Money doesn't matter. At the end of my holidays I will try to sell the  
shotgun or I will give it as present if I meet a friendly person there.  
I'll see. Anyway, the problem is to get one, not to give one away ;)
To summarize the responses, it seems there's no chance for tourists to buy
a shotgun.
On the other side I heared about very liberal gunlaws in Alaska and Texas.
Do you have any idea about it ?
