Hi
Those of you drying flowers need to enter the modern age.  After you buy
silica, put it in a microwave safe container.  Cover the flowers with
the silica the way you would if you were placing them in the oven but
instead, heat them in the microwave for several minutes.  Let the whole
thing cool enough to handle and shake the powder off.  That's all there
is to it.
