subject: FoxBASE programs...

I've been put into an awkward situation (at least it is for me).
I have the pleasure (if you can call it that) of working with
some FoxBASE programs (.FOX extention).
Now, I didn't start using Fox until FoxPro 2.5.
I know that from my manuals that .FOX files aren't compatible
with FoxPro.
Is there some way to decompile the .FOX programs?
If I get a copy of FoxBASE, will it give me a listing that I
can save or convert to PRG format?
Or do I try and track down the original programmer and see if
he still has the source code?
I can't find any info on this besides what I mentioned above.
Thanks in advance.
