You can thank the OS itself for the cryptic error message. When it tries to load the dynamic linker referenced in the executable's ELF header and can't find it you get the same "file not found" error as you would for any nonexistent file. By default 16.04 only installs 64bit and you must install the 32bit version in order to have a multilib system capable of executing both. The 64bit version of the linker is named ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 And it's not exactly specific to BBBS. All dynamically-linked 32bit programs require that you have the 32bit libraries installed. They can't talk to the 64bit ones at all. -==- CA> Fixed it - mark gave me what I needed.
