Ahem. I had an interesting discussion with a neighbor of mine a few
years ago. An elderly Finnish-American gentleman, he fought the
Russians during the Winter War in 39 and again alongside the Germans
till 45.
He carried a 9mm Luger throughout the war and thought it was just great.
He also thought my Isocoles stance was silly - one handed shooting, ala
a target stance was the way to go, according to him.
No doubt about it, ol man Skoggs had "been and done". But I didn't rush
out and buy a Luger and give up my Isocoles stance.
