I'm testing out msged v6.0.1 for linux, and I'm having a few issues.

when I'm reading a message, in the right hand corner, there is what looks
like a mini menu that says 'Scan  List  Setup  Quit'.  For the life of me I
can't activate those menus.  What do I need to do to enter a new message?
I'm having some trouble finding a manual of commands.  I found the manual
that has alot of technical stuff like how to set it up and stuff, but not a
users manual.
