G GM> RJT> What I'd call combination wrenches, I guess -- open end on one end of GM> RJT> it, "box wrench" on the other. Two lengths of a bunch of them, and I GM> RJT> need to get into some bigger sizes there, too. GM>I have some of them. Also several that are open on both ends, Here those are called "open end" wrenches. and GM>others that are ring on both ends. Here those are called "box end" wrenches. Wrenches with an open end and a box end are called "combination" wrenches. I have a chest full of all of them - 1/8" on up to 1 1/2" Also metric from 4mm (I think) up to 36mm. Sockets the same size ranges in both inch and metric. Plus a few odd sizes (metric and inch) larger than the above that I bought one of for one time jobs occasionally. Different country, same tool, different names. :-) Jay --- þ OLXWin 1.00b þ RAISIN: A Grape with a sunburn.* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/1 379/1 633/267 |
