It's a phrase I wasn't familiar with but it does fit nicely with the
situation.

Agreed, and it's those unknowns in a modern interconnected world that
complicates thinking somewhat.

It's a common goal that has found support from a wide quarter. The
motives behind the drive to support that goal has (I suspect) been quite
diverse. That's the interesting bit to me.

For an issue such as this I'd well expect a solid turnout. Lastest reports
here in New Zealand as I write this have 97% reported to have registered to
vote and strong turnout expected today. Polls opened about 2 hours ago as
type this. The last poll result I heard had the No ahead 52% to Yes 48%.
