To have an effective website, you MUST have it available 24 hours a day.
That means having 2 lines (one for BBS callers, the other a full-time
connection to your ISP) _if_ you're hosting the webpage on your own
server. Usually, you have the ISP host the page.
If you host your own webpage, by having 2 lines and the proper BBS
software, you can give also give BBS callers access to the Internet via
that 2nd line. It means people trying to access your webpage will be
sharing the line if someone on the BBS is using it too, but that's
something you just have to expect unless you're able to afford a T-1
line.
