Neither method worked for the machines we had (IBM Netfinity desktops.) We
ended up porting to TN3270, which we hadn't wanted to do because of the
extra work. It's the first time I've seen it referred to as
"cloning", I've always known it as a LAA (Locally Administered
Address) as distinct from the factory assigned address (UAA, Universally
Administered Address).
