I have figured out that if you use defnode * and it references binkp.net the
node you are trying to connect with has to be listed at http://binkp.net

They have done what they can to pick up the nodelist but when I checked
1:2320/100 was listed as derbycitybbs.com which was the domain I used in 2012.

I recreated my node and got a crash mail... opened the link and BOOM it has me
set up right now.  It also tracks my ip address and all I have to do is poll
their FTN node.

I think the only nodes listed there are zone 1-4 though.

I don't think you have done ANYTHING wrong... the node needs to update at
binkp.net
