The problem, Nolan, is that the people in this echo aren't particularly
representative of gun owners in general.
How many millions of gun owners, who are also union members, are gonna
vote for Clinton because their union endorsed him?  How many of them
will vote for Buchanan if he runs because they **LIKE** his
protectionist views and distrust the free trade advocated by the
Libertarians?
How many millions of gun owners, who are also deeply religious and
menmbers of the Christian Right, WANT the state to impose their view of
morality on the rest of us?  How many of them would **NEVER** vote for a
Libertarian because they perceive the Libertarian Party to be the party
of Godless Libertines?
Even if ALL of us who vote solely to protect and restore the 2nd voted
for Browne, he still wouldn't win.
