So you think that the average adult citizen is
incompetent to the point of being allowed to carry
weapons?  This is the kind of thinking that has lead to
where we are today, where the only people armed are the
criminals and the cops and there are a he!! of a lot
more criminals than cops.  That means that the LAC is
nothing more than fodder to feed the criminals.
BTW, tell me if you agree with the following statement
and who said it and when:
     "This year will go down in history.  For the
     first time, a civilized nation has full gun
     registration.  Our streets will be safer, our
     police more efficient, and the world will
     follow our lead into the future!"
If you go back and check your history you will see that
back in the "bad old days" when almost ever male had a
weapon with him you will find that the percentage of
violent crimes is much lower than today with its
"civilized" unarmed society.
If you check the numbers you will find the in EVERY
case where CCW laws were passed you will find that the
crime rate drops at a rate much greater than the
national average.
Also if you check the numbers you will find that the
percentage of CCW permits revoked is well below 1% and
the percentage revoked for firearms related crimes is
almost to small to calculate.
And one last number you can check; the odds of a LEO
shooting a bystander in MUCH LARGER then of an ALAC.
IOW, at a crime scene you stand a better chance of
being shot by a cop than some "vigilante".
If you know when you draw your weapon to commit a crime
there might be three people who draw their weapon to
stop you, you aren't going to draw that weapons (unless
you have a death wish).
