He did write it but apparently the returns on "Fantastic Four: Rise of the
Silver Surfer" weren't everything the studio wanted so it was shelved.  Though
rumblings of another SS movie come up from time to time, JMS has said that his
script launches from the FF movie so it's not likely that his screenplay will be
made at this point.
