Prost continue development work

(8-Oct-98) - The Prost team continued work on its AP01b development car at
Magny-Cours yesterday and was encouraged by the results.

Despite wet and slippery conditions, Olivier Panis said the car was easier
to drive and less nervous than the standard AP01.

The team also completed test work on the new Peugeot engine with 81 laps
and 450km put on the new unit.

Jarno Trulli takes over testing duties at the French circuit today and will
start with a fresh engine.
