I think there is an allure to France that I never could understand. 
Probably for the same reason that if I were to visit a country in Europe
and I had a choice between France and Germany, I'd choose Germany.  My
maternal grandparents came from there.  My paternal grandparents came from
England.

Most people would like to see that situation resolved in the next five
minutes, without giving any consideration to the fact that the situation
over there is highly complicated.

First things first.  I think we'd rather solve the problems with them
through diplomacy rather than force.  Of course, then we'd have to convince
the Chinese government to give Tibet back to the Tibetans.

Those people have been at war for thousands of years.  I think the
Palestinians would like to rid the world of the Israelis, but that wouldn't
solve anything.  As long as Israel exists, the Arabs are going to go on
killing them and Israel is going to retaliate.  Too much hatred for far too
long between the two.

By keeping our eyes and ears open and being on guard as we now are.  As for
bothering us again, I don't believe anyone can make a promise that they
won't.

It takes money and an organization to do that.  We, along with many other
countries, have stifled their supply of cash.

Whenever the voters threaten to vote them out of office if they don't do
their jobs.  It only remains for the voters to take an interest and
organize.  In unity there is strength.

That is a sticking point between me and my friend in New Zealand.  Many
wars have not been fought because of religion.  WWII comes to mind.  But
then, that's only my opinion.  He doesn't agree, which is why he and I, and
also you, get along so well together.  (-:
