This new ROM-upgrade is as of today frequable on my system (2:285/255.1
31-13-4636984).
Put a statement in your fdnode.ctl (or a similar file if you're using another
mailer) as follows:

After you put this in, compile the nodelists and you're able to filerequest

my system in the future.
The following upgrades are available:

These are sb7-files and must be uploaded to your modem with the X-Modem
protocol (instructions how to do this are in the archive).

You must first upgrade your modem with the 1.440-12 code before you can use
this newer code !!!
 -= Changes between the Supra 288 1.44-14 and the 1.440-15 ROM Code =-
   15 July 1996 (ALJ)
1)  After a disconnect the far echo delay value printed by the
     %Q1 command was a few milliseconds off.
2)  The fix added in the last rev (item #8 in the -14 notes) was removed.
    It didn't correctly address the problem.  An alternate fix has been
    applied that appears to fix the problem (let me know).
3)  A potential problem was found in the -14 code for the SUP1331.
    If you have problems flashing from the -14 on the SupraSonic (the
    problem will exhibit itself by the modem not fully going into flash
    mode.  When in flash modem the LCD display should indicate that you
    are in flash mode).  To overcome the problem turn off the modem and
    let it cool down then power-on the modem and immediately attempt to
    put the modem in flash mode.
4)  A problem in the LAPM code when the link was flow controlled
    (own busy state) and then data transfer resumed could result
    in a LAPM protocol violation and a disconnect.  This only
    happens when connected to non-Rockwell modems.
5)  On the two character LED display the "RE" and "TE" indications
    were removed.  The new "RJ" and "TJ" indications replace
    them.  The "RJ" indication is displayed when a LAPM REJ or
    SREJ frame is received.  The "TJ" indication is displayed when
    a LAPM REJ or SREJ frame is transmitted. (This is the correct
    display description of what is happening.)
6)  The %Q2 status report now includes the number of frames
    received with CRC errors.
