As I entered the Walgreen's store to look at their pipes, a former high
school classmate was leaving with a box of Kotex(tm) in hand. It was his
wedding day and I knew there'd be no fun that night. :o)
Anyway, while in Walgreens, I bought a 'Doctor Grabow' corn cob pipe, some
tobacco and Dr Grabow filters. Even with the filters, the pipe burnt my
tongue. Even after a month of 'burning it in' there was no relief. Such
was my one and only experience with pipes. Took a bite of chewing tobacco
and spit it out after a minute or two. Never again. Tried soaked in wine
mini-cigars, but they were too expensive and really tasted bad after the
initial fire up. Cigarettes were it and I let most of them and my money
burn up in the ash tray.
