Here you go again.  Let's deal with facts, not conjecture.
Stop by your local Fire Department,  and get the facts.
Ask them how many accidents they have gone on, that involve
a gas tank in a car, that have actually blown up.  
You, and the rest of the public that watches TV, would
be amazed.  It hardly ever happens.
Again, like your tunnel fiasco, get the facts, PLEASE!
